After spending a full day with the Lotus F1 team at their team camp in Enstore in May 2013, Avicii got inspired by the sounds associated with F1. The principle of constantly working throughout the year collecting data to improve their car also reminded him of the creative process of producing music and collecting feedback on a track. When he landed back in Ibiza for burn Residency the next morning, Avicii was so inspired by the visit that he immediately started to produce the track, Speed (burn & Lotus F1 Team Mix).
