Cancellation Policy.

Introduction

At Connected Artists B.V. we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the cancellation of bookings for artists. By making a booking with us, you agree to abide by this policy.

1. Definitions

  • "Agency" refers to Connected Artists B.V.

  • "User" refers to any individual or entity making a booking through our platform.

  • "Artist" refers to the performers represented by the Agency.

  • "Booking" refers to a confirmed agreement between the User and the Agency for an Artist's performance.

2. General Cancellation Terms

  • Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to Artist representative by email or through our website's cancellation form.

  • The effective date of the cancellation will be the date on which the Agency receives the written cancellation notice.

3. Cancellation Fees

The following cancellation fees apply based on the notice period provided:

  • More than 180 days before the event: Full refund of the fee, minus a 10% administrative fee.

  • 60-180 days before the event: Refund of 50% of the total fee plus a 10% administrative fee.

  • 60 days or less before the event: No refund will be provided. 

4. Force Majeure

No cancellation fees will be charged if the cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the User or the Agency, such as natural disasters, war, or government regulations. Proof of such circumstances will be required.

5. Rescheduling

  • Users may request to reschedule the booking without incurring a cancellation fee if the request is made more than 180 days before the event and will be subject to availability and uncut additional fees.

6. Agency-Initiated Cancellations

  • The Agency reserves the right to cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control, such as the Artist's illness or other unforeseen events.

  • In such cases, the User will receive a full refund of the booking fee, or the Agency will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the booking or provide an alternative Artist.

7. Refund Process

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days of receiving the cancellation notice.

  • Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment used for the booking.
